Valuation

I can provide an estimate of market value to provide both parties with neutral information in the decision-making process of what is best to do with the house, sell, refinance, or even rent and keep as an asset.

Problem-Solving

In some cases, it is determined the house should be sold or one party keeps it. In either of these cases, one or both parties will need to find a new place to live. I can provide information and options to help guide the proceedings and assist one or both parties to find a new place to call home – buying or renting.

Working the Numbers

lt can be difficult adjusting to one income when are used to having two incomes. I
can work with you to evaluate the numbers to help with the transition to your new economic situation.

Certified Divorce Lender

If one or both parties will be buying a new property, or refinancing the home to keep it, I can refer you to a Certified Divorce Lender who understands the intricacies of working with factors such as changes in income, alimony, and child support. Getting a loan after a divorce can be a challenge, but a Certified Divorce Lender knows the rules of the road to make sure that you qualify.
